I used moleskine before..lovely but expensive and you feel like you have to be perfect using them. With this pad I don't mind doing daft things and wasting paper, or gluing things in. It's a really lovely little book, and the square 12x12 size is a refreshing change too. Like can you see ink from the other side of the page?** A: yes but it depends on the ink **Q: do micro pens bleed through?** A: They do not! They work well on this paper. **Q: dose this work well with alcohol markers?** A: Not really appropriate for alcohol markers. They will heavily bleed throug. **Q: Is this good for sketching with pencil?** A: Yes! It works great for dry media - the paper is nice and smooth.
