Review: Awesome purchase !!!! Thinking on getting another one as a back up!! - I have been using this knife for about a year now. I had not planed on writing a review on this item because I thought its a knife. nothing special about it not expensive, no carvings of David or the Mona Lisa on it. I purchased it because of the color alone, that was the only criteria. Now this knife some might say is a bit large , but I am a big guy with large hands (wedding ring is size 16). So I am a partial to a larger knife something that will fit in my hand and feel comfortable in my hand. I use this knife all the time, it is my daily carry. I have severally some with company names on them that were gifts and some that I have carried for years because I liked for one reason or another, and have put all of the away and only carry this one now. It holds its edge extremely well, and is one of the easiest blades I have ever had to sharpen. With the first time to have to sharpen it being 10 months after I purchased it. I have used this thing to cut through boxed, coper wire, cat5 wire, foam, rubber, plastic packages, scraping lables off glass and plastic, & even pulled out a splinter or 2. if I was put into survival mode I am sure I could use this to hunt small game. and if I was bored enough I amd sure I could try to whittle but just not that type of knife!!!! Over all its heavy which I love, because I want to know where my knife is!!! The blade is rock solid and stays sharp enough to shave with!!!! Awesome purchase !!!!thinking on getting another one as a back up

**Q: Is it made in the USA?**
A: Do you really think a sub $10 knife is made in the USA?

**Q: Is it good for carving?**
A: You’ll want something with a smaller blade for actual carving. I mean if you’re just wanting to sharpen a stick any decently sharp blade would do regardless of size. If you’re wanting to do some detailed whittling, get yourself a smaller blade.

**Q: How do you close the blade ?**
A: There is a flange in the handle next to where the blade sits. Just move that slightly to the side, which is removing the blade lock the flange provides and simply close the knife. Took me awhile to figure it out the first time I came across a knife with this type of mechanism also. Turns out, it is a fairly common system so any other knife of this type will close the same way.

**Q: Used a couple times and lost a screw already and screws in pocket clip falling out....is that normal?**
A: i bought a simple set of small drivers on Amazon to fit knives. use it to tighten the screws.
