Review: Pleasant long lasting scent - I like the added scent in the air that these provide. Some scents are stronger than others. As some other reviewers wrote they seem to lose their strength after a week or two; what I realized while the scent does seem to fade, it is actually there. I think we all become a little nose blind after a while. When I leave the house and come back after a few hours I can smell the subtle scent as a visitor would. I think a hint of fragrance is better than an overwhelming in your face one. I also found that when they dry up to about 1/3 of the gel I take a tooth pic and score the gel a little bit which reactivates it a little bit.

It drys out in 1 or 2 week after installation , eventhough its still full capacity it dries out and thats the reason the smell fade out quickly. Its strange how 3M cant solve this issue!!
