Review: Satisfied with this product - Works great lets me know all the info I need to know from how many watts my solar panels are bringing in to the percentage of the battery. the bluetooth range is decent it works up to10-12feet. The device itself is pretty small, won’t take up much if any room, It also comes with a thermometer to check the batterys temperature which was nice. The quality seems good so far. You do have to download an app to use this product but that wasn’t an issue, It was very easy to hook up to my battery and use. overall I’m pretty happy with the product
Review: Nice product - Renogy has nice products but they lack in experienced service reps/techs, they told me to ask them any questions on how to use their devices i purchased, this was for a solar dc to dc dual input charger/controller. Told me no on my setup and that i couldn't use their device but they sold it to me anyway. I got my answer from people on Quara forums sadly and not Renogy. All i wanted to do was a standard RV with aux battery setup but i have a dc power supply/charger unit for lead acid i use for my agm bank 120amp smart charger and it works great on my setup it charges my agm bank and powers the Renogy with zero issues using the alternator side of the charger keeping the lithium separate from agm bank. Why they had to make it so hard for me to figure out is beyond me must be a script reader answering tech questions. Bad support great product, well so far it seems great.

**Q: Is this one works with Renogy 3000w pure sine inverter?**
A: It will not work unless you have the one with 2 ports and LED display. One is for the RS port. The other for remote on\off..Older versions will not work.. So if you plan on buying this make sure you have the LED display ones with 2 ports...

**Q: is the bt-2 bluetooth module and the dcc50s 12v 50a dc-dc on-board battery charger with mppt compatible?**
A: No.  It connects but never populates any data.  This is a known issue on forums as well.  See my review.

**Q: is this compatible with android 5S (samsung galaxy note 5)?**
A: It works to my Android phones.  Some useful information but data from Renogy controllers are not calibrated very well and can fluxuate too much.  Compare to volt meter to get accurate data!

**Q: Will this work with 24 volt systems**
A: You do not connect the BT-2 directly to 24 volts, it doesn't work that way, you need a compatible charge controller.  The BT-2 Bluetooth Module uses an RS485 communications interface, typically at 3 or 5 volt signal levels.  Your charge controller voltage can be 12, 24, 48 or whatever it is designed to work with but it will have an internal 3 or 5 volt logic circuit to measure the appropriate parameters and then send information to the BT-2.  The BT-2 doesn't see the higher voltages if connected to an approved Renogy controller.
