It fits perfectly in our cot bed with no gaps at the sides, which was one of my main concerns. It arrived well protected in plastic rather than rolled or vacuum packed, and it was already in shape and ready to use straight away, which was convenient. The mattress itself is nice and firm, which is exactly what you want for a baby, but still feels comfortable. My baby is currently still sleeping in a next-to-me crib overnight, but has been having daytime naps on this mattress and seems very settled and comfortable on it. In terms of quality, it feels really well made and definitely good value for money. There’s no sagging or dips, and it didn’t have any chemical smell when first opened, which is always a bonus. I haven’t tested how water resistant it is as I use a protective sheet over the top, and I haven’t needed to remove or wash the cover yet. Overall, everything is exactly as described with no unpleasant surprises. I’d definitely buy this again and would happily recommend it to others looking for a good quality, supportive cot mattress. The latest one is for my Granddaughter's cot bed but the previous one was bought as a dog bed for a 110Kg dog I owned when I lived in Spain as normal dog beds were never big enough for him. The mattress was undamaged when he died and still had the same firmness as on the day I bought it.
