Never caused any esc overheating and the motor stayed cooler and seemed to run longer. I noticed these seem to make the plane a lot easier to fly more floaty which I enjoy more. I get less speed but what feels like more constant steady thust. They fit on both my fms f4u and top rc sky raider. Would be purchasing these again as i can't find anything else that fits the bill and takes a hit to continue flying on. Will be putting these on more warbirds!
