I'm really pleased with it so far. It could look complicated but it's actually very straightforward to use. You can set it to manual and cook as you need. Or you can use some of the automatic timings. They're not always suitable, I see what finish time it suggests and then choose whether to go with it or set it manually. I'm glad it switches to Keep Warm once it's finished cooking. I always switch it off at the wall when I'm finished with it and I really like that it remembers the time of day when I turn it back on, so the finished cooking time on the automatic setting is accurate. The only downside for me is that you can't set it to delay the start of the cooking time, e.g. it cooks for 8 hours but a delay timer means it won't start yet for another 2, for instance. My old one did this and I can't seem to find another that does it. But overall I'm still happy with this, especially how massive it is. So far, very good! *by J***R on 1 August 2025* I've used a standard ceramic bowl slow cooker happily for years, but decided to try the sizzle & Sear option. The bowl being lighter, even at 6.5 litre, is great. The food can be started directly in the bowl saving hassle and washing up. The timer and keep warm function is great. This is great on induction hob. Although it is diswasher safe, I prefer to wash by hand as it so light and the surface cleans easily.
