My son and daughter-and-law had a pail like our first one, and it had become so unusable for them that they were just throwing used diapers on their entryway floor (thankfully in the little purple bags to seal them - still fairly disgusting, but not completely cringe-worthy) and taking them out each evening to the outside garbage. I bought them a Ubbi pail which arrived today, and they were pleased with the utility of using normal garbage bags and were excited to put the sharp looking pail in the entry area, thus severely diminishing the grossness of the area. These are absolutely fantastic pails. We were using it for disposable diapers initially, and it kept the odor in and it was great because we could use normal trash bags in it. Now it's holding cloth diapers and doing a great job of keeping the odor in and it holds a washable liner really well. It's also pretty cute, and that helps a little with all the diaper changes.
