My hair is thick but fine. This brush works well as it dries my hair straight (I have curly hair) and it gives lift, bounce, shine and fullness to my finished blow out. The Wet Brush does not get tangled, nor is it too heavy for me and I have issues with my arms, hands and shoulders due to joint pain from autoimmune. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and does a good job of smoothing my hair while adding some volume. I have finer hair, and it moves through it more easily than a lot of other brushes I’ve tried, which makes blow-drying feel a lot less frustrating. It definitely helps give that softer, fuller blowout look without feeling too harsh on my hair. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s good, but not totally perfect. Depending on your hair type and how much volume you want, it may take a little practice to get the best results, and it didn’t feel quite as salon-level as I hoped.
