I've tried it on an Samsung S20 with the Samsung headphones from my old S6 and the volume and function buttons worked as well as did the in-line microphone. I also tried it on a Windows 10 laptop and it shows up as Speakers (hi-res audio) as a selection for both speakers and microphone. Both worked fine for a zoom session. Also clever on windows was that plugging in the dongle doesn't switch the default audio.
