Review: Abusing this pump and its still going - I work in a quarry and have this for dust suppression on a crusher, been using it the past month now it's dry and it's running 8-12hrs a day 5 days a week. Most it's pumped in 1 day is about 4k litres with the bypass and pressure screwed to the max. It's running 1-4 nozzles (2 sprinkler and 2 hand type. the sprinkler in the picture is giving more water than it looks as its windy and hard to see where its that fine a spray) depending on how dry it is and sucking water out of dusty ibcs. Not much else you can ask of it when the pump it's replaced was 7 grand. The spray from the hand type in the picture is with 3 nozzles turned on at once on a flat setting.

**Q: Lousy house pressure, if I connect outlet of garden faucet to inlet of this pump will I get better outlet pressure to drive an impact type sprinkler?**
A: No it will not do anything for you... This is also 12V not 110 so maybe you should look into your houses old plumbing or contact city about your low water pressure

**Q: Automatic shut off?**
A: Yes it has a pressure switch that shuts it off when you shut the flow of water off

**Q: What is the power usage for this motor? Amp hours would be best, but pretty much any measure would be helpful.**

**Q: What is the wattage need when using a power supply**
A: On the placard for the product that I bought, as well as in the product specs, the amperage is listed as 3.5A, with a maximum of 7.5A(presumably when the pump starts). Ohm’s law states that P=VI, so this yields an average of 12V*3.5A = 42W with a worst case of 12V*7.5A=90W.

Replaced my Jabsco pump which was very noisy for this seaflo 42 and what a difference fantastic product and 20 times quieter...I also changed the accumulator which together work perfectly 👌
