Review: definitely spill proof! - this adorable cup came with a bunch of goodies which i wasn’t expecting! an organic sponge made from coconut husk (if i remember correctly) to wash the cup, a rubber ring for the cap which makes the cup spill proof plus some spares. the cup itself is super stylish, i bought the pink one and i am honestly in love with it. the design is so nice and i loved the packaging. i did buy the smaller size because i rarely get the chance to finish all of my drink (i’m a stem student in university) and it works just fine for me. it’s easy to hold and carry with you. i’ve stored it upright in a backpack and even when it tilted over 90 degrees it hasn’t leaked. the only catch is the lack of insulation on this cup :( i found it only keeps my coffee warm for about 2 hours, and tea from boiling hot water about 3. to me this is personally a major downside, especially if you are a busy person. if you’re someone who sits at a desk or has access to their drink at all times, then this shouldn’t bother you as you can easily refill / by the time you finish your drink it wouldn’t have gone cold anyways ! all in all, still a lovely cup, but for the lack of insulation the amount of warmth it holds is still quite impressive. i will be keeping the cup and continuing to use it regardless, since it helps prevent waste and looks amazing !

This cup though is perfect! It appears to be double walled so keeps my drink hot for at least 60-90 mins, doesn’t affect the taste of the drink, no need for a sleeve as although you can feel the warmth of the drink on the outside of the cup, it doesn’t burn your hand. It’s easy to clean, nice to drink out of and I love that it has a Matt finish which means scratches are less likely to show. I was worried that the handle that forms the seal to the opening would flip back on my face when drinking but it stays put and it fits in my drink holder in the car. I purchased the larger size which won’t fit in all car cup holders due to the height of it if you’ve got a cup holder underneath your radio console panel, something to bare in mind. So glad I found this cup!

**Q: Is this cup completely plastic/melamine free?  Have recently discovered that bamboo cups etc are mixed with melamine which is toxic, so am on the hunt**
A: Yes, it’s made from rice husk fibre and , as far as I’m aware, is melamine free. Hope this helps

A: Well I use mine to carry it all the time, as long as you don't swint it around it's fine.

**Q: Can I put juice in and carry inside my backpack? would it leak?**
A: Hi,
I’m certain that the thread on the lid would hold firm.  I would have a degree of doubt about the flip over seal that you lift to drink.  In a back pack there’s a possibility that something may be caught under the lift up seal and cause a leak.  IMHO I don’t think it would happen.  But we all know “Sods law”,if something bad can happen it will, and it does.  Hope that helps. KC.

Great size, 450ml, keeps hot drinks hot for hours, doesn’t leak and is fully dishwasher proof. It’s lightweight and looks good. I love the fact that it’s mainly made from recyclable products do great for the environment. Compared to other products it’s very reasonably priced too. Now for the not so great - the brown piece to secure spillage isn’t made from recyclable products but can be recycled, but my main annoyance is that after one use and one wash, the blue print has started to come off, ruining the look of the product and making a mess of my fingers leaving them patchy and blue... please sort this out as it really does spoil the look of the cup which actually is very well made and does a much better job than some of the more expensive products out there.... also why is there no pastel green offering the only option to buy is pastel pink????
