Drop a teaspoon full of oil in the middle then rub it round with some kitchen roll so the surface is evenly coated. 4. Heat the oil until it turns slightly yellow. 5. Remove from the heat - you're done. You may need to do this if you decide to thoroughly clean your pan again. I would recommend just running it under hot water and giving it a hearty rub down with a cloth. Try not to remove the proofing you've applied.
