Amazon says it works on gas, electric, ceramic, and induction cooktops, and that it is oven safe up to 500 degrees and can go from stove top to oven. Be sure to use pot holders! I use my enameled skillet or dutch oven on the stovetop - and also in the oven, but not above 400-425, if that much. I suspect a standard Lodge cast iron skillet (without the ceramic coating) would be more suitable for the BBQ grill, but it will require seasoning the metal - full instructions come with the Lodgeware. But you have to keep in mind that this is enamel coated and not non stick . so food will get stuck in it but if you do the timing right you can get the food out of it without sticking.you can bake in it. But one thing though after using couple of months i can i see very very small lines of cracks on the paint, cracks only but not chipped paints, i can live with that , for the price i paid for the product, its worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Dutch babies! *by V***E on Reviewed in the United States on 19 June 2024* Beware when unpacking. The first one came with shattered enamel and I got cut by it. The return went perfectly though and the new one is exactly what we were looking for.
