BiOrb Classic 60 Aquarium with MCR - 16 Gallon, Silver

Love this aquarium

First off, I can't deny this thing is stunning. It was so much bigger than I expected, yet nestled perfectly in the tree branch I wanted to use to display around it.I loved how it looked so much that I'm doing a series on my blog about it.But, there are some downsides.First, because of it's shape, sometimes it is hard to see the fish. Second, because of its shape, it can be hard to arrange the stuff inside because you have to stick your whole arm in and it's hard to see what you're doing.This also means you don't dare let it get filmy.There's some great upsides too. One is that it fits in any decor without it looking like a clunky rectangle tank and it has a smaller footprint than comparable sized tanks of other sizes.The system itself is fantastic and well thought out as well as being attractive.Overall, I do love my Biorb.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great tank. You do need to know what you’re doing. Took some work to set up properly. EXTREMELY upset that I got mine all set up just to find out the light is broken upon plugging it in. This would be a five star review if that had not happened. Would be happy to write another if this is corrected. The tank itself is great but considering I paid extra for the cool lights I’m really frustrated.Update:So I found out that the lights work! I got an email back quickly about how to fix it. Support team is great! I am so very happy with my tank! I can mimic sunsets and algae booms with the mcr lighting which is a plus.Important to note that no roots can go into the substrate without affecting the filter. All my plants are floating or attached to something! I used extra media from biorb (4 bags total) because I had a 16 gallon tank. I purchased the biorb decoration in the middle in the large size and some of the large biorb pebbles as well. I also bought the biorb heater, they curved surface brace is perfect. You also should get the bubble tube guard - this should come with the tank but it doesn’t, is affordable ($6) and needed. Everything else in there I added myself. The tank is just lovely. I have corycats, a school of galaxy rasboras, lots of shrimp, and one betta. Everyone loves it! I recommend this to anyone looking for a new tank! It just requires some research to know how this tank will function best but if you do it properly this tank is just mesmerizing.

The media could not be loaded. Super disappointed. The light doesn't work at all. I already filled it up with water and now I have to empty it to send it back. I won't buy a product from biorb again. What a waste of money.

Beautiful tank. Super easy to set up. This was a surprise gift for my daughter. She absolutely LOVED it!!
