I took away the shine and file the edge of the tips a little so they would fit and they worked fine. I also used my nail drill to carefully outline or create a cuticle. Most of them had little to none. I used them to test custom acrylics I made and they worked great. If you are having trouble get the tip to stick on. Hold it on there like 3 times longer that you think you need to! They do take longer to adhere than on regular nails. Only downside to these us the price. Nail supply glamour sells then for 1.50 for 3 fingers. Some people thought they were perfect, others thought the fingers were too small and not like real fingers. Now they are small but they're like the size of a pinky so you're basically purchasing ten pinkies. If the size doesn't bother you (cause you believe size doesn't matter) then this will be perfect for you.
