While dry cleaning is recommended, it is expensive, and dry cleaning leaves a chemical smell. This product cleans well, and leaves the cashmere in great shape. I noticed how much better it is on the wool over regular laundry detergent. I like that after cleaning my sweaters smell clean, but not scented. I also like how concentrated it is. The small bottle does as many loads as the huge container of standard liquid laundry detergent. That makes so much more sense for the environment. It is so much more efficient to have a smaller bottle of concentrated detergent over a giant bottle that does the same number of loads. I am further impressed that I can buy a refill for the bottle instead of tossing more plastic waste in the landfill. An added bonus is that it is an American product.
