ACDelco 519-3 Specialty Rear Spring Assisted Shock Absorber

Review: Give me a lift ! - Installed these on the rear of a 1965 Chevy Malibu. Installation was easy as expected, hardware fit fine . Ride is firm enough and it raised back of the car almost 2 inches. Exactly what I was hoping for. I have also installed these on an 1989 GMC pickup and had the same results.
Review: Well it lifted the back end about an inch. - Well I lucked out and the factory shocks came out easy. Glad these were notched, it made the install easier due to the placement of the bolt and nut on the inside frame rail. Car rides alot better and even lifted the rear about an inch or so.

I wish these shocks had the thicker piston and the coil spring. Otherwise, firm ride. Not as firm as severe service. But, Gabriel is better quality than Monroe.
