This is well designed and quite comfortable. It has a nicely contoured seating surface and contains some substantial aluminum stock in the pre-assembled back, probably for long-term strength. This thing is first class in terms of design, materials, packaging, and instructions. Very heavy-duty (and relatively heavy). Really nice stainless hardware and simple to put together (helps to have a socket wrench to tighten the 14 carriage bolts and stainless flange nuts that fasten the back to the seat and the arms). My friend's six-year old son did most of the work of putting it together with me holding the main pieces in place at first.
