I do recommend only using half if it's not real big because you get twice as much uses out of it and that way if it doesn't stick then you can try with the other half. These do not stick to gums and I think the closest to your gums the harder it is because of the amount of saliva that sits in your mouth in that area. It had not dissolved at all whatsoever even after a full night of sleep. Every time I moved my mouth it pulled on my sore. It was visible that I had something in my mouth so I followed the instructions for removing it and it ripped open my canker sore and now I have a gash on the inside of my lip that’s more painful than the sore ever was. Last night I tried using a tablet to protect the new wound that the original one gave me but used only half of one so that I wouldn’t have to remove it in the morning before work. It hurts every time I move my mouth (it feels like it keeps getting caught on my gums), especially when I tried eating even though I chewed on the opposite side of my mouth.
