It works every well.Here's the best way that I have found to use this product. Wash the are with soap and water and make sure it has dried completely. Then place the scar pad on the scar and press down. Rub back and forth the length of the scar so that the pad adheres well. Leave the pad on for 3 - 4 days. At this point it will start loosing some of its adhesiveness. Remove the pad and replace it using the above procedure.Using this process a box of pad lasts a full month. My plastic surgeon is impressed with the results thus far and has instructed me to use these pads for 3-4 months. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars No major change *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2016* I used these to help heal abdominal scars from a surgery. I did cut each silicone pad in half to get more uses out of each one. They did not come off or move all at after showering or swimming and I left them on for about a week and mostly forgot they were there. I did not notice a huge change in the scars and can't really tell if the healing is due to the silicone or just the natural healing process of the scar. I did notice the scar line was a bit softer and not as hard after using them. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Proven To Be Ineffective *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2016* I wanted these patches to work but they did not. I had the perfect test case: two moles removed on the same arm. For one I used Rejuveness patches, which worked well (reduced color, lowered raised scar) but eventually I gave away or lost my Rejuveness silicone patches. So when the next mole was removed I bought these cheaper Neosil patches. I noticed they were about half the thickness. I used the tape from Rejuveness patches to keep the Neosil patches on because as others mention they can fall off (though the adhesive was ok if they didn't get wet). I followed the directions for months of use and my arm proves without a doubt that the Neosil patch had no effect. NONE.
