They may be able to sharpen blades, but it may be better to buy a new one. **Q: Does this come with chain/guide oil or does it need to be bought prior to use please?** A: This item does not come with oil. This has to be obtained prior to using the machine. **Q: Does anyone know the chain gauge please? Hyundai helpline doesn't know, and instruction manual doesn't give the info.** A: The correct Chain gauge was / is stated on the small plastic bag the original chain was packaged in ( Size: 3/8.050x52DL ) The details which I have since copied to the instruction manual. ( See "Oregon" or similar for a suitable replacement.) **Q: my saw over heated , now won't work .. still under warranty what do i do ?** A: I would dismantle (unplugged obviously) clean the chain, cutting bar and remove all sawdust from around the large hand tightening nut and chain and blade recess at the very back of where the cutting bar and chain sit. Normally if there is an overheat there is a thermal overload which will stop the motor, when this has cooled overnight put it all back together and try again. Look forward seeing how it performs long term. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works fine & good value *by S***J on 14 July 2026* Just got finished using this to cut back an unruly laurel bush (which is a fairly hard wood) for my folks, and it worked just fine (see pictures). It's kind of noisy so you're probably going to want some ear protection. Assembly is very straightforward and there are great instructions, and tensioning the chain correctly is really very easy. You're obviously not going to be cutting down any mighty oaks with a chainsaw this small but for smaller jobs the speed and power are just fine I reckon. The instructions are fantastic; detailed well-written and aimed at complete novices like me, and they tell you not just how to maintain this chainsaw in particular but how to use chainsaws safely in general. Plus you get Hyundai's 3 years warranty as well - I've used their after sales care service before and it's excellent.
