They are a little tough to get on and off so my suggestion is see if they will slide on one end of your shower rod and install on the shower curtain (maybe on a floor or bed) and then slide on the rod. I did this but the end of my rod was too thick so I had to hook them on while in the shower which is a little tough but you can do it!
