I hasten to add, however, that as a 76 year old whose weight has shifted to my stomach and hips, this turtleneck still fits comfortably. We are based in California! **Q: is the white color see-through?** A: I only have the navy blue one, so I don't know if the white would be see through, however I doubt that it would be because my navy turtleneck is of a good consistency material and if the white is the same material, which I assume it would be I think you would be safe in purchasing it. You will love the length of both the sleeves and the turtleneck itself, but purchase a size larger than your normal size because the material has a lot of give to it. I tend to like paper think layers so pass on this if you want that type of layering. It's not see through. It follows the silhouette but doesn't cling. Highly recommend.
