If there is any chance that you may have to remove that thing some day, think twice! To say this stuff is hard to remove is a huge understatement. It is virtually impossible to cut with a knife, and the bond it forms with whatever you put it on is absolute. You are very likely to destroy things in the process of trying to remove Sikaflex 221. I have used this stuff to mount solar panels to vehicle roofs. Once cured, it's just as solid as if I had used screws. I have no doubt at all about its strength, and it is water tight. My camper is anodized aluminum so I had to purchase the right sealant. Was not advised to use silicone caulk so I stumbled upon this Sikaflex sealant. I purchased smaller syringes to fill up and piped the sealant on the seams and around the windows with ease. But that’s kinda the point.
