Designed for versatile use in fire-rated walls, floors, and ceilings, it offers easy application with no mixing required, excellent adhesion, and additional sound and smoke barrier properties, making it a trusted choice for professional firestop solutions. ## Description 3M Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+ is a one-component, latex-based, intumescent sealant that dries to form a monolithic firestop seal. This sealant also acts as a barrier to airborne sound transmission. As penetrants are exposed to fire, the intumescent property of this material allows the sealant to expand and help maintain a firestop penetration seal for up to 4 hours. This sealant is designed to help control the spread of fire, smoke and noxious gases before, during and after exposure to a fire when installed in accordance with a listed through-penetration or fire-resistive joint assembly system (STC-Rating of 54 when tested in a STC 54-rated wall assembly). 3M Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+ firestops blank openings and penetrations passing through fire-rated floor, floor/ceiling or wall assemblies and other fire-rated interior building construction. This halogen-free sealant is capable of expanding a minimum of 3 times its dried volume when exposed to temperatures above 1000°F (538°C). We engineered this sag-resistant sealant to exhibit strong adhesion to a full range of construction substrates and penetrants. Applied with conventional caulking equipment, this gun-grade sealant offers an excellent caulk rate - no mixing is required. In addition, this water-based sealant is paintable as well as re-enterable and repairable, offering easy application and clean-up. ## Features - 3M - BUILDING CODE COMPLIANCE – seals openings through fire barriers where mechanical services pass through - HELPS PREVENT FIRE SPREAD - capable of expanding a minimum of 3 times its dried volume when exposed to temperatures above 1000°F (538°C) - ONE PRODUCT, MANY USES – listed in hundreds of UL Firestop systems with up to 4-hour ratings - VARIETY OF APPLICATIONS - HVAC ducts and vents, pipes, blank openings, cables, through-penetrations, busways, combos, rated wall, floor and floor-ceiling assemblies and more ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00MJ9GDZG | | Best Sellers Rank | #139,500 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #688 in Industrial Sealants | | Brand Name | 3M | | Color | Sausage | | Compatible Material | Rubber | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (7) | | Included Components | Item | | Item Dimensions | 14.29 x 9.88 x 4.29 inches | | Item Form | Fl | | Item Weight | 18 pounds | | Manufacturer | 3M | | Material Type | Rubber | | Model | CP-25WB+20oz | | Number of Items | 10 | | Part Number | CP-25WB+20oz | | Style Name | Mechanical | | Surface Recommendation | Miscellaneous | | Unit Count | 10 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** 3M - **Item Weight:** 18 pounds - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 14.29 x 9.88 x 4.29 inches - **Material:** Rubber - **Style:** Mechanical ## Images ![(TM) Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+, 20 fl. oz., Sausage, 10/case - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41b8zmwc5OL.jpg) ![(TM) Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+, 20 fl. oz., Sausage, 10/case - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31MdKlsKRpL.jpg) ![(TM) Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+, 20 fl. oz., Sausage, 10/case - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51OW-rVut8L.jpg) ![(TM) Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+, 20 fl. oz., Sausage, 10/case - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51d4-mxyCeL.jpg) ![(TM) Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+, 20 fl. oz., Sausage, 10/case - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51wSIP52A9L.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - 3M(TM) Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25WB+, 20 fl. oz., Sausage, 10/case - BELAROKO Sausage Caulk Gun 600ml Sausage/Cartridge Dual-use Hand Tool 15” Caulking Gun Kit With 2 Cone Nozzles, 20-ounce (20 oz-2 pack) - JES Innovations Cone Nozzle for Sausage and Bulk Caulk Guns, 10-Pack, SD-BCNOZZLE-10PK --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/20016780-tm-fire-barrier-sealant-cp-25wb-20-fl-oz-sausage](https://www.desertcart.us/products/20016780-tm-fire-barrier-sealant-cp-25wb-20-fl-oz-sausage) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
