Take the wet washed beret and place the dish inside the hat and let it dry. I've been wearing berets since childhood and that is the way my Mom cleaned it. Make sure the plate is at least the size of the beret. You can even make it stretch slightly for a larger hat. **Q: what is the diameter; can i get berets in a 9 inch diameter?** A: These are 11 inches.
