I use these masks to reduce the sheer quantity of particulates (especially dust) that I'm exposed to when working outdoors. Especially during times when the hot summers and north winds create mounds of dust on every surface. As masks go, it's bearable. No one likes to have their face trapped in steamy exhalation all day but....the venting helps a lot. I do end up with heavy perspiration on my face that is inside the mask on the hotter days. But all in all, this keeps me working and helps reduce my coughing from particulate exposure. For the price, it's a great value, and if the masks are cared for by keeping them clean and being gentle with the elastic straps, they are reusable for days. My only wish is that instead of the elastic being "one size fits all" that they could have an adjustable elastic strap.
