I took a high-quality zinc supplement because the prostate requires adequate levels of zinc to function properly. I have read some studies where a zinc supplement alone would help the prostate. I also took Zyflamend, which helps lower systemic inflammation. One of the issues with the prostate is that it becomes inflamed, which then squeezes on the urethra cutting off the flow.
