It's very quiet with a good amount of airflow. One minor problem that seems to be common with small DC fans: The leads are delicate and not dressed very well - a heat shrink jacket would make them more secure. And a slightly bigger problem that lost it a star: On the lowest speed of the 3 speed choices, in certain orientations the fan motor wouldn't start running.
