The cover in both sides is laminated for easy clean up. It has a beautiful picture on the front. It is spiral bound and the pages turn effortlessly. You can write your recipes on both sides of the paper. There is plenty of room so that you don’t have to scrunch everything up on an index card. I love this book! In anticipation of this happening I have chosen to list more than 1 recipe per page when possible. The recipe book did not come with any sort of index or designated sections. I purchased tabs separately as shown in pics to help with organization. This recipe book is setup for only 1 recipe per 8x11 page, which seems like waisted space. I find that I only need 1/2 that space for a recipe.
