Which color is it?** A: Dear Customer, Thanks for asking. Some color on this splat mat is a little like flesh pink. **Q: Do oils and butter bead up, stay only on the top layer or soak right through ?** A: I use it in my puppy pen so haven’t fed them oils, but it’s got a waterproof coating with fabric underneath, so I would imagine it beads up at first but would deep in over time. It’s washable though so there’s that. **Q: Will this mat stay put on a cement floor?** A: I had used it on carpet, it stayed put fairly well. I think a lot depends on what you have on top of it and how much traffic would be walking over it. It does have slightly grippy bumpy surface on the bottom but it's also fairly thin (think more like a thick sheet as opposed to a rug) so it did bunch up and shift occasionally in my experience. **Q: I have twins and their high chairs are a little bulky. Does this have enough room for both chairs?** A: I have the ikea high chairs and they fit on it but I’m not sure if they are super bulky. Love that no slip grip keeps it from moving and it it's easy to clean! It keeps my floor protected and when I'm training my birds I just set up their training perch on the mat and any crumbs fall on the mat so all I have to afterwards is bring the mat outside and shake it off. Save more time than grabbing a vacuum cleaner all the time! Also protects my floor from the condensation from the humidifier as well! I tried every kind of cleaner I could find, but after two years of that I gave up on that rug. I bought this before putting the new rug down. Now if I can't get him to stop peeing on the ottoman, at least I can keep my rug from smelling bad. This looks to be a lot easier to clean, although I strangely haven't had to yet. He's been a good boy for several weeks!It's nice and thick, I don't think you need to worry about ripping it.. It's a nice soft fabric that is also waterproof. It isn't stiff or plastic-like, and it doesn't make annoying noises. I was skeptical of the pictures that showed it being used as a tablecloth, but it actually would work nicely. It looks and feels nice. The gripper things on the bottom work better than I expected.Overall I definitely recommend it.
