This is not a deal breaker for me, as I simply do not fully-fill the cup. I would like to think I am well-qualified to make that assessment, as I am an Italian-American who has lived in Italy...and have been an espresso connoisseur for over 20 years :) My wife also loves these cups, as they do not have a flashy (colorful) logo on them, but just a subtle white logo over the white porcelain. Holds espresso size perfectly with a little space for creamer/foam/etc. Comes with saucers which completely elevates the espresso experience. Bought them to match our De-Longhi espresso machine.
