Product Description The Slipstream is a performance cycling shoe that doesn't sacrifice the style and comfort of your favorite pair of sneakers. With its breathable mesh toe box, slip-on construction, and single-strap closure system, it's the most comfortable shoe you'll ever wear to class. SPD cleats sold separately. Clip in, in style The Slipstream is an SPD compatible cycling shoe with the aesthetic of your favorite sneakers Slip on construction, single strap closure Slip in and strap up for class easily with the Slipstream's single strap closure system Performance on the bike, comfort off the bike Hop off the bike after class and walk around the studio with ease SPD cleats sold separately Please advised that SPD cleats are not included and must be purchased separately SPD Cleat Sold Separately In order to clip in with your new shoes, you'll need to install a set of SPD cleats. The Slipstream will not come with SPD cleats , so you will need to purchase these separately. Any SPD cleat should be compatible with the shoes, and they are widely available for purchase online. Check your bike's pedal to make sure it's compatible with TIEM's Slipstream cycling shoes SPD Pedal If your pedal looks like this, you're all set! Please keep in mind that you will need a set of SPD cleats to install into your shoes in order to clip in. These are sold separately. Look Delta Pedal The Slipstream will NOT work with your pedals if they look like this. Some bikes, such as Pelotons, will come equipped with these Delta style pedals. This is a different cleat than what our shoes use. You can very easily install new SPD-compatible pedals on your bike if you would like to change that. Search online for guidance. Dual Pedal If your pedal has both SPD and Delta style connections, then you're good to go! Some pedals come equipped with a different connection method on each side of the pedal. As long as one side of your pedal can accommodate an SPD cleat, you can use our shoes with ease (as long as you have an SPD cleat installed, of course).

Pros:- the solid shoe plate on the bottom gives you efficient transfer of energy from your foot to the pedal. It is recessed so you can walk in the shoes more normally. - the upper is stretchy so it conforms to your foot (very helpful for those with bunions.) But it is stiffer than Skechers so it holds that solid bottom plate tightly to your foot for efficient transfer of energy. It has a velcro cross strap to hold it tight after you put it on. - clipping in to a bike gives more efficient transfer of energy to the bike. But it also allows you to develop a better "circular pedaling" stroke where you push down during the full rotational cycle of each stroke. This is more efficient and spreads the effort out across more muscles. Tips: - follow the recommendation to purchase a half size less than your athletic shoe size, that worked perfectly for me. - mine are a little hard to pull on but comfortable once on. Use the pull tab on the heel when putting them on. - you need to purchase a cleat as well and attach it to the bottom. I just got the one desertcart recommended as "often purchased together" and it worked on the gym bikes, but best to research before buying. Mine was less than $12 so cheap to replace. - you need a 4mm allen wrench to attach the cleat, order one if you don't already have one - alignment and positioning of the cleats is important, look for directions/videos Cons: none the I have seen.

**Q: Can I attach any kind of clip into this?**
A: You can attach any brand of SPD clip, but it must be an SPD cleat (not Delta, LOOK, or SPD-SL). Our recommendation for best performance is the Shimano SM-SH51 cleat which is also available on Amazon.

**Q: Are these men’s sizes or women’s?**
A: These are women’s sizes. TIEM currently only produces shoes in women’s sizes.

**Q: Are these compatible with the new Peloton?**
A: The pedals that come with a Peloton require a Look Delta cleat.  If you use SPD cleats, then you need to change the pedal/cleat on the Peloton.

Great shoes, very comfy and much better than the ones my cycle place offers! For me they also fit true to size which is great! They’re very easy to walk in, they feel just like a normal tennis shoe, but they are breathable and don’t make my feet ultra sweaty! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ain't no indoor cycle shoe like TIEM!!!

Absolutely love my TIEM Slipstream cycling shoes. I wear these 3-4 times a week on a Schwinn indoor cycling bike. These cycle shoes fit true to size and are extremely comfortable. Very durable and extremely functional. Material allows foot to breathe while wearing. Shoes are available in a variety of colors, I actually have 3 different, the light gray, a black pair and a multi-color pair. While the TIEM shoes may be a higher price point than other indoor cycling shoes, for the quality and durability they are a great value and will be a pair of cycle shoes that last!
