Second, the BSP’s straps are stiffer which makes it better for heavy binoculars. I tested the stiffness by putting my thumbs together and then stretching the fabric. I found I could stretch the next leading brand approximately 3 times further than the BSPs. I also hung my binoculars from both devices and found the BSPs superior. I own EL 10x50’s which weigh about 2.2 pounds, so for me the choice is obvious: the BSPs are worth the extra money. One last thing: the leather strap connector no longer says Swarovski on it. My new 8.5x 42 bins are just that much heavier that the harness feels great over using neck strap. And harness not too big on me either. I just got mine after getting this response from customer service “ yes, the BSP is compatible with new and old version EL. You only have to remove the loop rings and thread the strap through the bino lugs.” **Q: Do these work with 12x42 nl pur binoculars, and if not... do they have a harness that does??** A: They should. Your Swarovski binoculars came with two sets of harness adapters.
