WowWee Miposaur with Rechargeable Power Pack

Bought this as a Christmas present for my child. He had seen it on YouTube and had been wanting one for a while. Was absolutely excited on. Christmas Day, until it started having problems. The first issue, not a problem perhaps but an annoyance is that to remove the battery pack you need a small screwdriver]m something a small child would have problems doing. The supplied battery pack is woofully inadequate to power the toy for any length of time. The main problem was for the price it certainly was not well made, my son used it for only four or five hours and it started to act funny. On closer inspection one of the motors on the feet either burned out or wasn’t moving properly. The robot would no longer do anything but move in a circle because only one foot had a working motor. Honestly it was cheaply made and didn’t even last through Christmas Day and had to be returned. Very disappointing to say the least. Had quality control been better this would be an awesome toy.

Buyer Beware - WooWee will only offer support after the 90 day warranty. After that time, they will not help with replacement parts or repair assistance. I needed to purchase a leg motor for my son's Miposaur. This was the response from WooWee:"Thank you for the response. You may be able to find some more information in the online robotic community.Unfortunately, we do not offer repairs on any of our products or sell the replacement parts.We do recommend looking for a local electronic repair shop or individual to assist you with any desired repairs.We are sorry that we cannot be of more help."

EDIT: You can battle two MiPosaurs but the controls are so bad it only occasionally works and it's extremely frustrating. We have two so I'm pretty sure we didn't just get "duds."It does help somewhat to turn wifi off while playing. Even while it's off and more responsive, single control does nothing and dual control is extremely difficult.I am also returning the MIP robot because it's just kind of lame and doesn't do what it's supposed to do either.These were a major disappointment.Original review:Cool but hard to control with iPad. My kids seem to like anyway.One major drawback that may have caused me to reconsider buying - you can't seem to battle two MiPosaurs! Plus, if two are played with in a room together they get confused and the controls from their respective balls affect both MiPosaurs.Wish they were more clear about this fact. We even bought a MiP robot so we could battle but the MiPosaur seems much more powerful and takes out the robot very quickly. Not a fair fight and not much fun.P.S. The robot is much easier to control via the app than the MiPosaur.

We bought this for Christmas. At the time the app did not connect , but we thought it was due to the app being down. We have never been able to connect. We have tried everything. We turned off all other blue tooth devices. We even tried on all 6 of our family IPad/phone devices. Nothing. My son is completely bummed and it is too late to return it. He loves the dinosaur but gets sad every time his sister wants to play with her mip on the computer and he cannot his.

I bought this miposaur for my son's 8th birthday and he loves it. So do i. It works perfectly with bluetooth on app. The connection is smooth..no password needed. It does seem to need to really be linked with the included "ball" but, after it finds it, it's so sweet how it plays with the ball and follows it. Definitely recommended. Now, I want one so we can race them and play with them together LOL. My dad, his grandfather, was amazed and wished they had toys like that when he was a boy.

Really the Robots as description and prices with Rechargeable power pack ,but after i received it here in Qatar (after waiting for 10 days for international shipment ) and more than 100 $ for shipment cost ,i disappointed when i got it without rechargeable power pack at all really it was bad experience

I was honestly hesitant to buy this. It seemed like one of those toys that would never work quite right and break within a month, but it was all my son wanted for Christmas. Well 6 months later it stills works great. My 8 year old uses it regularly in all the different modes and they all work really well. It's actually a really cool toy. Definitely recommend it.

My daughter loves it, was disappointed that it was used and I believe that it doesn't work right. Some actions it will not do at all. But the actions that it does do it's pretty neat.
