It is advertised for dogs up to 220 lbs... my 70 lb dog snapped this leash and almost got hit by a car. I understand the dog should have been in better control, but he's a 6 month old Pyrenees in training. I would not recommend this leash unless you have an older dog that stays by your side. I trusted this leash and the advertising, BIG MISTAKE! Spend the extra $5-10 for a better quality, more durable leash. Waste of money. ### ⭐⭐ Rewind has damaged leash *by C***K on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2015* I really like the leash, however if you look close you can see one side of the leash is damaged. It appears that on a "rewind" it went off to the side and twisted when rewinding. My biggest concern is the integrity of the leash now. I have two strong German Shepherds that use this leash. ### ⭐ Useless leash, But the BEST customer service. WELL the most recent one has now malfuntioned and it is to late to return.to Amazon. I am very dipleased and would NOT recommend this product.I have to ammend my earlier post. Though the first leash was faulty, the replacement that was sent is awesome and I appreciate the HappyDogz.net people for their fast and very caring response. I am a customer for life. They take great care of you and care about you animals too! Thanks so much Jude. :-)I was happy with this item for a few days (4) until the locking mechanism quit working and it was not even on the dog. Though I will get a refund it still leaves me without a leash and I have to send the other back. So I have to go buy another leash and do not feel I can do that online because of the return policy.
