The addition of menthol provided a soothing and cooling sensation when applied, and I could really feel a difference in the severity of tenderness after just one day applying the gel three times a day. It definitely reduced the severity and longevity of the bruising. I really liked the cooking effect, and importantly the gel was absorbed without leaving any sticky or oily residue. The only downside was the gel is a bit on the wet side, and since you need a good blob to do any good it takes a fair bit of rubbing in. I’d purchase again, it’s as good if not better than other arnica products I’ve used. I have used arnica for a long time and is really great for bruises and contusions, I recommend it.
