Our German shepherd has issues lol, he loves to tip over his bowl. Trust me having raw food and Kimble all over the place is no fun. No complaints about the size, the giant one 9 cups is perfect size. I absolutely hate the rubber ring around the bottom. I wish it did not come off. We wash the bowls after every feeding and each time that dang rubber ring comes off and is a giant headache for me to put on. If you don’t mind messing with the ring cool but it really annoys me. Other then that its great! Sadly I am looking for another bowl because I hate that ring. Its so small that it pops off but works fine on the floor. Half perfect? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice bowl for cats or dainty canine eaters *by R***K on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2015* Nice quality and decent weight on the stainless steel with decent non skid bottom for the price. This is not an expensive high end weighted bowl and I don't believe it would hold up well for outdoor use. The stainless outside is nice for easy cleanup. I personally would not put it in the dishwasher because the high temps and detergents cause most elastomers like rubber to fail pretty quickly. I use it as a cat food bowl. Its wide enough that I don't end up with kibbles all over the floor from my less than dainty 20lb feline grazers. With smaller bowls I end up with crumbs and dropped kibble everywhere around the bowl on the floor and this wider bowl eliminates the problem. The non skid works well and its heavy enough it stays in one spot for that use. I am guessing most people would use it as a dog bowl. I have large breed dogs 100lbs+ and while the capacity is great for large breeds, its not heavy enough or non skid enough to keep them from pushing or flipping the bowl.
