No plugs needed, which saves time and swearing. Just drill a 6mm pilot hole, line them up, and drive them in. Most went in like a dream, clean, firm, and tight. A couple gave a bit of resistance near the end, but nothing a deeper pilot hole didn't solve. The countersunk heads sit flush, which keeps things neat, and they feel solid once in place, no wobble, no backing out. If you’ve ever used cheap concrete screws that shear off halfway in, you’ll appreciate the difference here. I only dropped a star because one or two had slightly inconsistent thread quality, but that’s me being picky. For the price and performance, they’re great.
