People are talking about seasoning, but you don't season enameled.** A: It’s not enamel it’s kind of rough cast iron. Would work ok for hamburgers etc but did not work well for cooking eggs when camping. It worked beyond my expectations. As this is cast iron It must be season like any other cast iron cooking utensil. Apply vegetable oil liberally to the grill plate and make sure the grill is on a level surface. Heat grill to 400 degrees Fahrenheit then reapply oil. Complete these steps 3x at least to create a nonstick surface.
