My ears have been less itchy since using this, and I believe that that is down to the material of the buds as regular ones tend to dry my ear out, which doesn't happen with this. I can apply just a liiiittle too mulch pressure to the earbud trying to make sure I can reach the top of the ear canal too. The stick on this is flexible enough that I have not yet managed to create the curve in it that usually ensues when using a regular swab like this. And it is SO easy to clean. Just run the buds under hot water and you can see the wax disappear and not stick. I then take a pinch of soap and rub it over just to make extra sure. Then a rinse and you're done. The protective case is also really good. It has a mini mount to put it on inside for it, and the case has a swivel lid so you'll never lose it. If you drop to knock it over, the bud doesn't call out, unlike a box of the cotton ones. And we all know that most of us will pick them off the floor and shove them back in the box (As long as it's relatively clean) and then probably use them later. So again, more hygienic depending on your habits. Anyway, I do really recommend this. I feel like I can use it for years if I treat it right, you create less waste, you get a little pride in such a tin, simple thing. Until it becomes commonplace like it should.
