Product Description Natures grub tadpole hatchling food is a pro-biotic vegetable based sinking pellet for hatchling tadpoles that require a lower protein diet, rich in natural health boosting ingredients, as well as low levels of insect meal. Hatchling tadpoles require a very low protein diet for the first 6 weeks of their life, or until their legs start forming, also at this early life stage, tadpoles have no requirement to spend time on the water surface and feel much more secure staying at the bottom of the pond or river, finding safety under decaying leaves or amongst aquatic plants. Review: The package was much smaller for the price - Very good well worth the money I thought the packaging was a bit small, and you no longer got the amount you once had, but it was great for the baby frogs and yes I still had many in my garden and they are confusing the cats, but wonderful to see. And I had noticed that the froglerts had some meat on them, so that the food has done a lot of good, but I can not ask the frogs I can see that I had far more frogs this year than I had in previous years .

Very good well worth the money I thought the packaging was a bit small, and you no longer got the amount you once had, but it was great for the baby frogs and yes I still had many in my garden and they are confusing the cats, but wonderful to see. And I had noticed that the froglerts had some meat on them, so that the food has done a lot of good, but I can not ask the frogs I can see that I had far more frogs this year than I had in previous years .

Never new i needed to feed the tadpols. But if you have a new pond with verry little plants or stuff in the pond whst are they going to eat. Highly recommended. You will also need other feed when they get legs. I suspended a sieve just below the water line and put the food in, they come to the sieve and fed great to watch.
