Review: Great for windows - My window to my room is facing the sun all the time and so my room tends to be really hot in summer. Finally, decided to add this and right away I could tell a difference the room was not as hot as before. I want to keep the most light and heat away form my room and this got the job done. I dint have enough for the whole window since it the window is large but I just finished of the window covering with aluminum foil on sides.

Had a little trouble making the top but not made for looks. This stuff works great. Where I used to get about one to one and a half days from 16lb. of ice I now get two, sometimes more depending on the temp. I believe the reflective surface helps to reflect the suns heating effects keeping my cooler, cooler. Well worth the price only wish this manufacturer made these to buy. Would have been a lot easier. Thanks for the great product.

**Q: Can I use this on the doors to my air handler.  The stuff that is on them now is pretty gross and I want to replace it.**
A: This is NOT porous so if the door stuff acts as a filter or if air intake is through the doors then no it won't work.

**Q: Can you please share the shipping weight and measurements?**
A: The dimensions are on the product description (16" x 10 feet); the weight is almost nothing...It is just bubble wrap enclosed in lightweight foil. It probably weights under half a pound.

**Q: Would this help central air be more effective?  I'm renting the top floor of an old house and would be willing to rig it to walls if it'd help.**
A: yes it would help to insulate the walls and keep the cool air in .But it will also help hold the heat in the winter

**Q: Are you going to switch the product you send me like you did in the past?**
A: I ordered 2 different kinds and I never received one of the bubble insulation I ordered.

I bought this to put on my sliding door in garage, to help keep the heat out. Late afternoon sun shines directly in on refrigerator/ freezer. I believe it has helped some. Weather has changed a little but over all refrigerator seems to be keeping correct temperature. I like it!
