The knife was super sharp right out of the packaging and I was able to make great fillets from walleye and rainbow trout. The rubberized handle provides a great grip despite plenty of fish slime. Would be nice if it came with a sheath, but everyone's preferences on those can vary so I can see why it's excluded.

It's a fillet knife by Victorinox, not much else to say as they make great knives at a great value. The knife was super sharp right out of the packaging and I was able to make great fillets from walleye and rainbow trout. The rubberized handle provides a great grip despite plenty of fish slime. Would be nice if it came with a sheath, but everyone's preferences on those can vary so I can see why it's excluded.

The handle is very comfortable and is excellent at maintaining a sure and strong grip even with hands covered in slime or oil. Perfect for filleting fish, as your hands *will* get slippery. Very sharp and excellent construction.
