There is no guarantee I suppose. Mine does seem well enough made and I appreciate the way the filter pads can be slotted securely into an internal cloth pocket of the mask so as to stay there unless deliberately plucked back out by hand. The mask is washable but that is obviously not the case with the filter pads, so it'd be best to order more of those as I had done at the same time I'd ordered the mask. If you want I suppose you could insert two filter pads at the same time but whether that action would increase protect of the respiratory system is very doubtful.
