Very easy to install, in fact my husband did it all by himself (I fell asleep before he started). It’s very sturdy and plenty of room under the bed also for your child to have a “fort” of sorts. The bed is not very high and easy to get in and out of. The only thing is, the company should let you know the height of the mattress that belongs inside of it. We originally had a 12in mattress and it almost to0uched the top of the bed.
