Review: Great bars, great price. - Great looking and feeling handlebars. If you are upgrading a Sportster 883/1200's stock bars to the 14" apes, chances are you will need extended throttle cables and front brake line. I hoped the 14" apes would work on my '01 XLH 883, but the stock throttle cables and brake line are too short. I knew it beforehand but still thought I could stretch things out. Nothing against the bars as I'm sure they'll be just fine once I receive the extended cables and brake line.

Great looking and feeling handlebars. If you are upgrading a Sportster 883/1200's stock bars to the 14" apes, chances are you will need extended throttle cables and front brake line. I hoped the 14" apes would work on my '01 XLH 883, but the stock throttle cables and brake line are too short. I knew it beforehand but still thought I could stretch things out.
