But reality quickly set in. The grommets were obviously carrying the weight of the relationship but the curtain was too flimsy for a serious commitment. In the sudden and slightly violent separation the grommet got to keep the house while the curtain hung in there purely from the support of friends. It prefers to cuddle with your leg rather than the cold, harsh tub. Which I suppose could have contributed to the separation as the grommet was obviously trying to hold it together.
