It is free of lactose and is vegetarian but not 100% dairy free. For most Prymal creamers, I use about 5-6 teaspoons (and 6 teaspoons = 2 tablespoons, which is the recommended or average amount used, I believe). The 4 teaspoon serving size on the bag is for nutritional purposes, and you may not find that to be enough flavor for you. I get about 20-24 cups of coffee per 11.3oz bag myself, but I don't measure exactly for every cup of coffee I make, and I have three different size coffee cups I use at home.
